Concrete Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting with various concrete-related tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your hands-on skills and knowledge of construction processes will contribute to building durable, high-quality structures. • •Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create smooth, durable surfaces according to project specifications
• •Set up and dismantle formwork and scaffolding using hand tools and power tools, ensuring stability and accuracy
• •Install rebar reinforcement in concrete forms to strengthen structures in accordance with blueprints and technical drawings
• •Operate concrete pumps, mixers, and cutting tools safely and efficiently on site
• •Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise concrete placements and formwork layouts
• •Maintain a clean work environment by removing debris, cleaning tools, and organizing materials regularly
• •Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, working at heights, handling hazardous materials, and operating machinery Requirements
• •Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete work or related trades such as carpentry or masonry
• •Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery used in concrete installation and finishing processes
• •Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical specifications accurately
• •Familiarity with construction estimating principles for material quantities and project timelines (nice-to-have)
• •Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including OSHA standards or equivalent safety protocols
• •Skilled in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, as well as power tools like drills and saws
• •Experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete cutting, pouring techniques, and finishing finishes such as plastering or stucco (preferred)
• •Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique
• •Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
