Concrete Laborer

Job Overview C&N Construction is seeking a Skilled Concrete Laborer to join our commercial concrete team. This position is for individuals with hands-on experience in concrete construction who can assist with all phases of work, including site preparation, rebar installation, concrete placement, and cleanup. Team members are expected to work efficiently, safely, and contribute wherever needed to keep projects moving. Duties

• •Assist with excavation, grading, and site preparation
• •Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
• •Install and tie reinforcing steel (rebar), dowels, and wire mesh
• •Assist with setting, bracing, and stripping concrete forms
• •Help place concrete during pours (pump or direct discharge)
• •Consolidate concrete using vibrators
• •Assist with screeding, raking, and basic concrete finishing
• •Cut and install expansion joint material and other embedded items
• •Operate hand tools and power tools safely
• •Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• •Follow instructions from foremen and superintendents
• •Follow all OSHA and company safety standards
• •Protect finished work during curing, stripping, and cleanup Experience
• •Minimum 2 years of concrete construction experience
• •Experience tying rebar and installing reinforcing steel
• •Experience assisting with concrete placement and pours
• •Familiarity with concrete forms and general forming practices
• •Ability to safely use common construction hand and power tools
• •Ability to read a tape measure (construction drawings are a plus)
• •Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working outdoors in all weather conditions
• •Reliable transportation to and from job sites is required
• •Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
