About Moe’s Concrete Moe’s Concrete LLC is a growing concrete contractor serving commercial and residential projects throughout the Phoenix area. Our work includes foundations, slabs, concrete walls, structural concrete, and site concrete. We are looking for an experienced Concrete Superintendent who can lead field crews, plan work in advance, maintain production, and deliver safe, high-quality work. Position Summary The Concrete Superintendent is responsible for the field execution of assigned concrete projects. This position supervises foremen and crews, coordinates manpower and equipment, plans concrete pours, monitors production, and ensures that work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is a dependable field leader who understands concrete construction, reads plans confidently, communicates well, assists with scheduling, and takes ownership of assigned projects. Responsibilities
- •Review project plans, specifications, scope, schedule, and field conditions.
- •Coordinate daily activities with foremen, crews, Project Managers, general contractors, inspectors, office staff, and other trades.
- •Develop daily and weekly work plans for assigned projects.
- •Determine manpower, equipment, materials, and formwork needs.
- •Assign clear production goals to foremen and crews.
- •Supervise layout, excavation, base preparation, formwork, reinforcing steel, embeds, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and cleanup.
- •Verify dimensions, elevations, reinforcing, embeds, anchor bolts, block-outs, slopes, and formwork before concrete is placed.
- •Plan concrete pours, including crew size, concrete quantities, pumps, access, placement sequence, finishing equipment, curing, and backup plans.
- •Coordinate inspections and confirm that work is ready before requesting an inspection or scheduling concrete.
- •Monitor labor hours and production against the project budget.
- •Reduce downtime, overtime, waste, and preventable rework.
- •Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
- •Enforce company safety policies and applicable OSHA requirements.
- •Conduct toolbox talks and correct unsafe conditions immediately.
- •Identify plan conflicts, changed conditions, delays, and extra work.
- •Notify the Project Manager before performing work outside the contracted scope.
- •Complete accurate daily reports with labor hours, work completed, delays, material usage, equipment, and progress photographs.
- •Communicate schedule, quality, staffing, and production concerns promptly.
- •Train, coach, and hold foremen and field employees accountable.
- •Protect company tools, vehicles, equipment, materials, and rented property.
- •Complete punch-list and closeout work promptly. Concrete Experience Qualified candidates should have experience supervising/managing several of the following:
- •Footings and foundations
- •Slab-on-grade construction
- •Structural slabs and decks
- •Cast-in-place concrete walls
- •Reinforcing steel and embeds
- •Curbs, sidewalks, driveways, and site concrete
- •Concrete pumping, placement, finishing, and curing
- •Layout, elevations, excavation, and aggregate base preparation
- •Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite Qualifications
- •Minimum of 5 years of concrete construction experience preferred.
- •Minimum of 2 years of foreman or superintendent experience preferred.
- •Strong knowledge of concrete forming, reinforcing, placement, finishing, and curing.
- •Ability to read and understand construction plans, details, specifications, and schedules.
- •Ability to plan labor, materials, equipment, and concrete pours.
- •Experience supervising multiple crews or active work areas.
- •Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- •Ability to complete daily reports and use a smartphone or tablet for plans, photographs, email, and project communication.
- •Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- •OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- •Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
- •Must be able to work early mornings, extended hours, and occasional weekends when project conditions require it. What We Expect

Pay
$42.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
