United Concrete Products Inc. is a leader in producing over 250 stock items and custom precast concrete solutions for our customers. We are seeking a Fabrication Welder to join our fabrication department in Wallingford, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and repairing steel molds for our precast concrete products. Schedule Monday-Friday 6:00 am-4:30 pm Saturday 6:00 am-12:00 pm with overtime as needed Job Responsibilities Interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and specifications Fabricate steel to create molds that will hold concrete to create custom or stock items Set up and operate fabrication and welding equipment Able to work independently with minimum supervision Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion Job Requirements 3+ years of MIG welding and fabrication (required) Ability to read and understand blueprints Knowledge of measuring tools and product tolerances Attention to detail Reliable transportation Stick welding is a plus to the welder position. 401(k) 10% matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Referral program #J-18808-Ljbffr United Concrete
