Commercial Concrete Form Carpenter / Concrete Carpenter

Warriors 2 Workforce is seeking experienced Commercial Concrete Form Carpenters / Concrete Workers for a well-established Indiana construction contractor. This is not a short-term project assignment. The company is looking for skilled people who want a long-term career and an opportunity to become a permanent member of their team. What We’re Looking For Candidates should have at least 2–3 years of professional commercial concrete experience and be comfortable working independently within a concrete crew. Ideal experience includes:

• •Commercial concrete formwork
• •Symons forms
• •Alisply forming systems
• •Concrete walls
• •Flatwork
• •Rebar placement and tying
• •Reading measurements/layouts and working from jobsite direction
• •Proper use of commercial concrete and construction tools Residential-only or DIY concrete experience will not be sufficient for this position. Long-Term Career Opportunity The goal is to transition successful employees into full-time permanent positions with the contractor. Permanent employees are expected to participate in the company’s 3-year registered apprenticeship program through Ivy Tech Community College. Classes are held one evening per week at the Logansport campus during the school year, with no summer classes. Candidates should be comfortable with that commitment before applying. Location Projects and candidates may be located throughout the corridor between Indianapolis, Lafayette, and Logansport, with a particular need for workers located closer to the Logansport/Lafayette area.
