Concrete Finisher

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete forming and finishing. This role involves working on various commercial and residential projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. • •Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve smooth, level, and durable finishes.
• •Install rebar and metal mesh according to blueprints and schematics for structural integrity.
• •Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine specifications for concrete placement.
• •Set forms for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and dimensions for various structures.
• •Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, floating, edging, to produce high-quality surfaces.
• •Heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on-site while maintaining adherence to safety protocols.
• •Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards. Requirements
• •Proven experience in concrete finishing.
• •Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
• •Knowledge of rebar installation, form setting, caulking, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, and other masonry skills preferred.
• •Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
• •Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites including heavy lifting techniques.
• •Experience with renovation projects including stucco work or restoration is advantageous.
• •Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments.
• •Construction site experience with knowledge of framing (including metal stud framing), roofing or welding is beneficial.
