Residential Concrete & Masonry Estimator

Fast growing concrete and masonry company is seeking a residential estimator. We are seeking someone who is reliable with experience in the field, limited training will be provided. This is a key role within our operations team responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates: Estimator will:

• •Prepare detailed cost estimates and bids for residential construction projects, with an emphasis on concrete and masonry scopes.
• •Interpret drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, and construction documents to develop accurate takeoffs and pricing
• •Collaborate with field superintendents, and owners to ensure timely delivery and successful execution of project quotes
• •Support procurement by soliciting and analyzing subcontractor and supplier quotes
• •Coordinate preconstruction submittals and documentation
• •Develop and maintain positive client and vendor relationships throughout project execution Required Skills &

Experience

• •Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating or project management
• •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• •Deep understanding of concrete construction practices related to civil infrastructure
• •Ability to read and interpret civil plans, details, and specifications
• •Familiarity with construction methods, materials, production rates
• •Strong math and analytical skills; ability to compute areas, volumes, and production durations with precision
• •Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and best practices for construction environments
• •Strong written and verbal communication skills
• •Must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
