OVERVIEW
As a Plant Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining Ready Mix Plants across various locations. This role involves overnight travel. DUTIES AND/OR
RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Manage the upkeep of all Ready Mix plant equipment and assist in the setup of new or temporary plant operations.
- •Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance to ensure optimal plant performance.
- •Maintain an inventory of parts and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- •Estimate costs associated with personnel, parts, and supplies needed for maintenance operations.
- •Ensure all equipment is properly maintained to enhance production quality.
- •Communicate effectively with team members and customers, demonstrating good interpersonal skills.
- •Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to material quality and equipment operation.
- •Comply with MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR regulations and follow Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- •Serve as a backup plant operator and perform additional duties as assigned. MINIMUM
REQUIREMENTS
- •High School Diploma or GED, with trade or technical schooling in a related field preferred.
- •5+ years of mechanical and electrical experience.
- •Maintain proper licensure, medical card, and have an acceptable driving record.
