Role Description The Concrete Finisher is a full-time, on-site role based in Erie, PA. This role is responsible for placing, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces for slabs, curbs, sidewalks, and other structural and flatwork projects. Daily tasks include setting up and stripping formwork, operating power tools and related equipment, performing surface preparation, and applying curing and sealing methods to ensure quality and durability. The Concrete Finisher reads and follows plans and specifications, works closely with site supervisors and crew members, and adheres to all safety policies and procedures. This role may also assist with basic carpentry, site cleanup, and coordination of materials to support efficient project completion. Qualifications

• •Proficiency in concrete formwork and flatwork techniques, including setting, aligning, and finishing forms and slabs.
• •Skilled use of power tools commonly used in concrete finishing and related construction tasks.
• •Experience with basic carpentry tasks that support concrete work and structural layouts.
• •Ability to work safely around and, where applicable, assist with or operate heavy equipment used in site preparation and concrete placement.
• •Knowledge of concrete curing, sealing, patching, and repair methods to maintain surface quality.
• •Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and instructions.
• •Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• •Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and working in varying weather conditions.
• •Previous experience in concrete finishing or construction is preferred; relevant certifications or training are a plus.
• •Commitment to safety practices and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
