Construction Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures by performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites. • •Assist with the preparation and setup of interior remodeling job sites, including material handling, protecting existing surfaces, furniture, and flooring, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• •Safely and efficiently operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment commonly used in interior renovation and remodeling projects.
• •Perform demolition and removal of existing drywall, flooring, ceilings, cabinets, fixtures, doors, and other interior components while minimizing damage to surrounding areas.
• •Construct wood and metal stud framing for interior walls, partitions, soffits, ceilings, and other remodeling applications according to project specifications.
• •Install, repair, tape, finish, and sand drywall to prepare surfaces for painting and finishing.
• •Perform interior painting, including surface preparation, patching, caulking, priming, and applying paint to walls, ceilings, doors, and trim.
• •Install and repair various flooring materials, including luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, hardwood, and ceramic or porcelain tile.
• •Assist with kitchen and bathroom remodeling, including cabinet installation, backsplash installation, tile work, vanities, and fixture replacements.
• •Install interior doors, baseboards, crown molding, window trim, casing, and other finish carpentry components.
• •Perform minor plastering, caulking, tile installation, and general interior repairs as needed for renovation projects.
• •Assist with measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing construction materials accurately to ensure quality workmanship.
• •Maintain proper dust control, protect finished surfaces, and perform daily job site cleanup, including debris removal and disposal.
• •Follow all construction safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe tool operation, and workplace safety regulations.
• •Support the interpretation of construction plans, blueprints, measurements, and project specifications to execute tasks accurately.
• •Work collaboratively with supervisors, subcontractors, and team members to complete interior remodeling projects efficiently, professionally, and to company quality standards. Requirements
• •Proven experience in interior remodeling, residential renovations, carpentry, drywall installation, painting, flooring, and general construction activities.
• •Knowledge of interior demolition, wood and metal stud framing, drywall installation and finishing, tile installation, flooring, trim work, and other renovation techniques.
• •Experience with kitchen and bathroom remodeling, including cabinet installation, backsplash installation, and finish carpentry, is preferred.
• •Ability to safely and efficiently operate hand tools and power tools, including drills, circular saws, miter saws, nail guns, sanders, grinders, and other remodeling equipment.
• •Ability to accurately measure, cut, install, and assemble construction materials with attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• •Familiarity with construction estimating, material calculations, and reading blueprints or construction plans is a plus.
• •Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and commitment to following all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• •Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, lift and carry construction materials, climb ladders, and work in various indoor job site conditions.
• •Ability to work independently or as part of a team while following instructions and completing assigned tasks efficiently.
• •Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality interior finishes.
• •Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including proper protection of customers' properties and finished surfaces.
• •Reliable, punctual, professional, and able to meet project deadlines while maintaining company workmanship standards.
• •Willingness to learn new remodeling techniques and assist with different phases of interior renovation projects as needed. Pay

$20.00 - $22.50 per hour Expected hours: 9.0 per week
