Ready-Mix Concrete Truck Driver

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Ready Mix Driver I to safely operate ready-mix concrete trucks, delivering materials to construction sites in support of critical infrastructure and building projects. In this field-based role, you will load, transport, and discharge concrete according to specifications, perform daily inspections, and follow all DOT and company safety standards. You'll interact with customers and site crews, adapt to changing conditions, and keep accurate delivery records while working in a stable, safety-first, and team-oriented environment with opportunities to grow your skills and career. Responsibilities

• •Operate ready-mix truck to load, transport, and deliver concrete to job sites safely and on time
• •Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required DOT logs and documentation
• •Follow all company, DOT, and site-specific safety procedures, including proper use of PPEAdjust chute, slump, and discharge methods to meet customer and job specifications
• •Communicate with dispatch and site personnel to coordinate routes, delivery timing, and job requirements
• •Maintain truck cleanliness and report mechanical or safety issues promptly
• •Navigate to multiple job sites using maps, GPS, and dispatch instructions in varying traffic and weather conditions
• •Provide courteous on-site service, representing Heidelberg Materials professionally with customers and crews
• •Assist with yard, plant, or equipment tasks as needed to support overall operations
• •Participate in ongoing safety, operational, and technical training to improve performance and skills Required Skills
