Key Responsibilities
- Operate ready-mix concrete mixer trucks safely
- Load concrete at batch plants and deliver to job sites
- Coordinate with dispatchers, plant staff, and placement crews
- Perform slump tests and document load tickets
- Wash out and maintain mixer drums and chutes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Typical Qualifications
- CDL Class B (or A) with clean driving record
- 1+ year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Reliable and punctual with strong customer service skills
- Physical ability to handle chute setup and truck operation
Salary Range
$50,000 – $85,000+ with experienced drivers and those on prevailing wage jobs earning $70,000+. Overtime and overnight shifts can push earnings above $95,000.
