Key Responsibilities
- Supervise concrete crews and coordinate daily work activities
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications
- Manage material ordering, equipment scheduling, and delivery logistics
- Enforce safety standards and conduct site safety briefings
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and inspectors
- Track crew productivity and report progress to superintendents
Typical Qualifications
- 5+ years of concrete construction experience with 2+ years in a lead role
- Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, and curing
- Ability to read blueprints and perform basic layout
- Leadership and communication skills for crew management
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Valid driver's license, CDL a plus
Salary Range
$65,000 – $110,000 depending on region, project size, and crew size. Union foremen in major metros often exceed $120,000 with benefits and overtime.
